Dendrobium brymerianum

Found in northeastern India, north Thailand, Burma, northern Laos, and southwestern China as a warm to cold grower. Does not need a dry winter rest. At the recommendation of the person I got it from I'm growing it cold. This is the unusual all yellow version, somewhat like an alba. Normally they have an orange throat.

That's a beauty! Love that bright yellow and frilled lip!

Warm to cold? Really? I've only ever heard it as a cold grower from people who have tried it. If this is true, might be worth a second look for me! I've avoided it for years.

That's beautiful, Nick! I've tried to grow this one, and from what you said, I may keep it too dry in the winter- makes me want to try it again.

I quote Jay Phal:

elevations of 1100 to 1900 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte

The person I bought it from recommended cool and no dry winter rest.
