Surely, there must be some way that you can put multiple photos on the one post. This post has two pictures from flickr and was edited in word before I put it up. I have never, ever seen an Oncidiinae sub-tribe orchid with the bloom coming from the apex of the pseudobulb. It is something else!. Look at this photo of an unknown Oncidium hybrid and note where the spike comes out from the leaves at the base of the pseudobulb.

You have nice Cymbidiums, do not worry about the name loss. I liked the one that you call tiger stripes, it probably has Cymbidium tracyanum as an ancestor.
