No clue!
Unknown Orange Cattleya! :~(
Doesn't look anything like a Cattleya bowringiana var coerulea to me!Smiley_humphbr4b
I got it back in '06' and it's a first bloom, so it might be a little late to complain.
Not that it's stopped me before.
I'm not really into orange Catts, especially ones that I know nothing about!
It is kinda' pretty, though.

It is cute! Sorry to hear it's not what you expected, perhaps the vedor you bought it from can ID it?

RE: gad! i hate noid's

I'm sorry it's not what you bought, but I love the bright orange color!! I'm with Jem... maybe you can send that photo to the vendor and have THEM ID it!

isn't that a pretty unusual shaped lip for one of the orange catts? The rest of it looks like your fairly common starry shaped laeliocatt (or whatever they might be now).

I like it!

RE: gad! i hate noid's

I've been considering looking up the vendor, but I haven't got around to it.
As far as the look of it...
I don't know what orange Catts are supposed to look like.
Oh well, since I only paid $10 for it, I guess that it won't kill me to keep it!;~)
I have it in the kitchen window with a bunch of others in bloom.
