| The Chocolate/vanilla fragrance is stunning. I stop for a sniff every time i walk past the plant. It is a "X sib" from H & R orchids so should be readily available in the USA. Not for the light challenged though. Leaves do not look so good seeing i stuck it near the sheer glass north wall of a glasshouse to get it to bloom. That wall is only covered with scratchy paint so almost full sun there. (Southern Hemisphere) |

| I've always found the shape of almost all Encyclia flowers to be just so cool. Not sure why I like them so much, but I do. This one is very nice. Kevin |

| I'm really getting into Encyclia species. Most of them are fragrant (a big plus); also, the pseudobulbs are so nicely rounded and grow closely together and the leaves and spikes so graceful looking. They don't take up a lot of space unless of course they are allowed to grow really huge. Carol |
