Sedirea goin nuts

My Sedirea is going nuts this winter...I used to have two and one of them died...maybe the dead one is sending vibes from plant heaven to this one. This plant is popping out a keiki and three spikes simultaneously, one of which is laden with over 15 blooms, which is the most I have ever gotten on one spike. Fragrance during the day is amazing...citrusy and fresh.

Beautiful blooms Calvin! How about a pic of the entire plant? This is one of the smaller growing species, right?

I'll try and snap a whole plant photo. Yes, this one is quite small - very compact.

One of my favourite small species. I can smell it now!
Did you have a yellow variety last year? I rememeber a pic from then..

Carol - it was the same one..maybe the lighting? It is a creamy off-white color though...and the fragrance is intoxicating. I have a friend who's experimenting with making soaps and is tempted to extract the essence from the flowers...but obviously I'd never allow that :)

What a beautiful little flower not unlike some of the smaller growing Phalaenopsis species. Super photo, really shows off the bloom to it's best advantage

For some reason, I've been under the impression these can be difficult to grow if you don't have exactly what they want. The flowers really are lovely. Nice going!
