Last year when we had the major frost,I lost about 2/3 rds of my collection.
The day before the frost hit I ecieved a call from a sister,that our oldest had just a few days left.No brainer,threw stuff in thae car and left.
Some one on another forum asked and I explained what had happened.
A few months ago Andy Easton e-mailed me and said he was nameing a Cymbidium after my sister.It arrived in bud.
I cant tell you the feeling I had.Unfortunately the 3 middle buds died.So I was left with only two.
