This plant came from Ecuador. Our orchid society hosted Ecuagenera at our meeting. They shipped 2 large boxes of plants to our area. Then they make the rounds of the many societies near here. I bought several. Only killed one. Most have flowered. One has become a project. I'll explain if I get flowers. I think it is a mountain orchid that lives in modest light. This plant gets less light than my other cats but the leaves look like almost too much sun.
