Epidendrum parkinsonianum

My Epidendrum parkinsonianum is in bloom. I have had it for quite a few years but not always a reliable bloomer. This year it has three blooms from one growth. This is grown mounted on a thick stick (chunk of wood) and watered daily all year round. Grown hanging in a west window with somewhat filtered direct afternoon sun. Originally purchased from Andy's Orchids. Flowers are fragrant at night, but not overly so...fragrance reminds me of a very faint and mellower gardenia.
