Pleurothallis cylindrica (aka Physothallis cylindrica) is a very different and unique Pleuro. It It only grows in the Loja province of Ecuador at 1000 to 2,500 meters. Average highs 73F always cool nights. It only has 2 to 3 flowers open at one time but keeps making new ones as the old ones fall off. The stalk elongates as it does that. Last year it was at it for 5 month and the stalk got to be nearly 2 1/2 feet long. Right now it is 1 1/2 feet long. On the second photo look carefully the plant is center right, the stalk goes across to upper left where one can see the flowers.

Different, Tropical Orchid Farms sell it as Physothallis cylindrica.for $15. I saw it on Ebay for $39 did not sell.

The complete plant
