One of the most popular and best known orchid hybrids. Justly famous for being one of the easiest and most reliable. Huge flowers.
Very pretty. Mine was really small when I got it and didn't make it. I will try to get another one.
I had one too, but couldn't keep it going. I love the flower and the shape of the plant. Tried twice and they both died.
What's the secret with your success?
Jane
Until I rediscovered a source of tree fern, I repotted them ( I have two!) every other year. I don't think some kinds of bark are an ideal medium for this type of orchid as it breaks down too fast. Was that what you had it in? - Ian.
Yes, bark and sphag. Do you use only tree fern?
