Watching this orchid grow the inflorescence and finally open was slower than slow. It must have been 3 months.

Obviously, well worth the wait. It's lovely.
Everything is slow with this plant. The flowers have been out and opening for a while. There was a faint pleasant fragrance but today it is no longer faint. And very pleasant. This plant is a discipline of patience. But the rewards finally come.
