Dendrobiums!

I do not grow a lot of dends, but it sure amazes me how much variety there is amongst dendrobiums :) Here are a few that either blooming now or just finished up

I did not get to take pictures of Dend crumenatum and Dendrobium loddigesii....

Cutest thing, from EEoM. Blooms sporadically throughout the year

Cute little guy OH sent to me by mistake some time back, instead of delicatum..it was a nice mistake :) I never would have bought it otherwise, but really like the little plant

Such beautiful blooms!!! I looked at all of them. What is the name of the white beauty with the dark purple lip (a catt, I think)?

Sambac, good guess! The plant is Dendrobium Farmeri-Thyrsiflorum

Steve, hi there :) I am lurking more, trying to catch up with all the posts ...I do cat rescue as well, and right now is the kitten season - no time for everything :]

Sheila, thank you - the white with purple lip - I think you are referring to a half open Laelia Purpurata...We have been having rain every day, and I did not catch the flowers when they were open, to take a picture...This picture was of the flowers just starting to open up.
I believe it is L Purpurata 'Schuster', to be exact
