I showed it to Andy and he says it's Pleurothallis prolifera! Bummer.

What a shame it's not what you hoped, but it's still a very exciting looking bloom.

However, just from the photos Andy was able to confirm that the other non-blooming plant in the warm greenhouse is Pleurothallis pectinata. It has characteristic flat leaf stems. It's growing robustly, I'll post with MANY photos if and when it blooms. In the meantime here is a picture from Jay Phal's site of the flowers.

The picture does not do it justice. It is totally unique in it's presentation. The leaves are dangling straight down on 1' stems but are held nearly horizontal. The flowers are on the under surface. When one first sees the plant, bloom is not suspected until one turns over the leaves and sees neatly arranged flowers on the under surface. There is one on eBay right now, the picture on the offering page shows how the leaves are held. Click on the plant's name and the details come up. 3 photos are available, the middle one shows the unusual leaves. Notice how they grow it in an upside down hanging basket.

Here is the plant in the warm greenhouse which is believed to be a true Pleuro pectinata.

The characteristic feature is the flat stem of the leaves. Here is a stem seen head on.

And here is a seen seen from the side. Note how wide it is. 1mm one way, 2 to 3mm the other. Andy says that this is characteristic for pectinata.

I have one , bought 4 years ago from ebay . Was really small and now leaves are getting bigger , I grow it inside my apartement in Brooklyn NY , mounted on tree fern with sphagnum moss . when weather is warmer goes outside on my balcony and inside house on winter . I water it when is dry , not let it stay dry for too long and once in a while I water it with a mixture of garlic , red pepper , peroxide and gentle dishwasher soap in order to keep it fungal free ,and fertilize it regularly .
