it is interesting that mine are still in spikes and yours are already blooming, and we do not live that far away :)

Beautiful, is that typical of the plants in the wild or is it the result of line breeding?

Mine in spike up here in NYC. Indoors, of course!

tampensis and its hybrids are some of my favorites.

I am looking for some seed pods from them. They usually seed naturally wihtout much dificulty. Ihave a lab that will raise them for me.

If anyone has some let me know and we can do something with them

Absolutely! I usually get a bunch of pods. If and when they do, I'll contact you.

Arturm, Absolutely! This is a wild plant that I rescued many years ago from a lot being developed. They bloom when they want. I have others that haven't bloomed yet, but are just about ready to, go figure.

This is one of my favorites. Mine just started blooming a couple of days ago.
