Scaphosepalum verrucosum

A small intermediate grower found throughout a large portion of South America. I got this from the $7.50 table at Santa Barbara Orchid Estates 13 years ago, it has been in bloom ever since. It has gotten big, then I'd break it up and send pieces away, then the process repeats itself. Always in bloom, 12 month of the year, very willing. Right now it's in the cold GH but it has been in the backyard most of the time since purchase.

Ohh, I like the idea of "Always in bloom"

Do you have a close-up?
It looks lovely.

My phone doesn't do close-ups. I have a much larger mother plant if you want a piece. They are super easy.

Thank you for your lovely offer. I have a very limited , window sill space only and am getting a little "long in tooth" to start now., but I love all the photos and save them for a soothing, slide show.
I do a lot of "snapping" at shows too, so have many, many photos.

It will grow in your shoe. It's a weed that will grow anywhere.
