The hybrid Dend Hilda Poxon (Dend tetragonum x Dend speciosum) can have a variety of expressions as there are numerous different D speciosums one can choose from to create this popular hybrid. Mine is simply labeled D Hilda Poxon varient. I don't think it's a clonal name just indicating this is one of the numerous HPs.
What's interesting about this plant is that the flowers will change as the seasons progress. It will bloom off and on until Feb with a big flush coming in Feb. As the temperatures drop in the fall more and more red will come through from the tetragonum. Right now there is no red at all in the flower other than in the throat. I will post pictures as the month go by to demonstrate this change.
