Almost 3 months ago, a local orchid greenhouse had a fire. That's around the time that there was a total freeze at someone's gh in Canada. Both were awful.
I finally made it out to Leesburg earlier this month for a visit. Basically a quarter of the gh is empty - that's where the fire was concentrated. A lot of the plants were destroyed or damaged, but I was relieved to see his CCM Paph Norito Hasegawa still there, as well as his CCE Renanthera. Also his Phal primary seedlings (to which I succumbed... equestris x cochlearis, stobartiana x violacea, honghenensis x violacea....)
