This is Dendrobium delacourii, a miniature orchid native to Vietnam. I purchased the plant last year and it flowered very well this year with five spikes. Unlike many other Dendrobiums, this one flowers on half grown new growths in the spring/early summer. I give it a semi-winter rest reducing watering from every other day in summer to about once every 2 weeks in winter. Grown in a west window in my home with summer highs near 85 and winter lows near 59. It is not fragrant but the flowers are long-lived. I really like the fimbriations on the lips.
