This remake of the first Cattleya hybrid is a very vigorous grower and beautifully scented. I have had this plant for many years and it regularly flowers this time every year.
Lovely, so that's what it looks like. Peter, you gave me a small seedling of this in around 1990 but unfortunately I lost it somewhere along my orchid growing travels. Now I'm really wishing I still had it !
Hi Adam, was it really that long ago. Like so many of the bi-foliate Cattleyas this plant is begining to take up too much room and any way needs repotting after this season's flowering. It is growing in three different directions so I should finish up with three decent size flowering divisions. I'm still in the same area so if you have something interesting to swop and are down my way later this year we have a deal. Peter.
