Large terrestrial from Columbia. 1,200 to 1,800 meters, warm to cold, grow it outside in SOCAL with winter temps down to freezing. Deciduous, floriferous.
As usual any good looking orchid gets highjacked by one of my daughters and I get to see it again when it's out of bloom. This time she took a photo. Here are all 8 flowers open on the dubia. They open a bright yellow but change to a champagne color prior to fading. It's not my daughters photography, they really change to that color.
