Cold to warm grower from a large region of South America, grow it outside, very hardy. Oncidiums seem to get little respect but they can be nice. This one is just getting started, when it has 5 to 7 inflorescence with 50 flowers each it is a real golden shower.

It's a climber, has ascended about 2' at this time.

The flowers are small but there are many and the yellow is intense. When the sun hits them, they jump at you.

They are about 1 cm in size.

I love it! How beautiful to have it hanging, great idea. What is it growing on?

I envy your weather, it seems perfect.

It's not hanging, it's growing up a 2' long stick. Has nearly reached the top. I plan to add another stick to keep the process going. Actually the stick is hanging.
