You people have good taste! It takes several days for the colors to show. It starts out very pale. Almost white. No special pampering as this plant is an easy grower. A high class floofer! Big and multiple flowers.

I have had this orchid for quite a while.It's growing in a basket and has bloomed every year for me.I find it only puts out 1 p-bulb yearly, so I find it's growth very slow.The length of time I've had this orchid it should be much bigger.How do you have yours growing?

I have some in a mix of bark, charcoal, and pearlite. For a year or so I've been using lava rock. Works for me with a heavy hand on the hose. I get a lot of new bulbs. In time the plant creates multiple leads. This plant has been easy for me. The only issue is to be vigilant on pests.

A few years ago I was turned on to maxi-crop. Norwegian seaweed juice. It contains a natural humic acid, a root stimulator. Using that every 2 weeks has been a game changer for me. Roots are fat with long translucent tips.

It has a sheath now and after it blooms I'll give it a checkup. Thanks!

I would be interested in a trade but do not know what I have that you would want for trade. Do you have any of the Nuns Orchids, I have 2 different ones that can be divided it is bigger now than when this picture was taken and in bloom bud for the 3rd time this year. As soon as the above finishes blooming it can be divided. Let me know what you are looking for and maybe I have it. I'm in Sarasota FL

I really didn't make much any sense in the last post. The one in the picture is the one in bud and bigger than this picture. It has really grown fast this summer, guess it needed time to really get started from last year when I purchased it.
