A great find! I was privileged once to see a Cypripedium calceolus growing in the wild in the one location in England where it can still be found. It is very like this but with a buff yellow lip. What is the status of this orchid in USA? I believe yours is more common. As you can imagine Cyp. calceolus is one of the rarest orchids on the planet.
