| I know this is a pretty common orchid, but I've had it for 5 years and it has never bloomed (other than when it was given to me in bloom) until this year. It bloomed several months ago and when I cut off the stem of the spent blooms, it immediately sent up another stem that is now multi branched with 24 buds.
The only difference is we replaced our windows with Low E this past Winter. Is the reduced UV the reason this has suddenly taken off? Thanks. |
