No, amazingly the plant is not that big and this is the first bloom. The second picture shows all of the leaves. Like other Maxillarias, it is not waiting for the end of the bloom cycle but is actively making new growths as it is developing the flowers. I have seen pictures of this plant with 20 flowers crowding the available space, just spectacular. Some people call it the most impressive of the Maxillarias although it has plenty of competition as there are others, especially the bottom bloomers, which can be equally stunning.
Since this is the first bloom, I can't wait for the 3rd, 4th and 5th bloom. Hopefully it keeps what it promises.
I'd offer you a division but it's really not that big a plant and definitely is not ready to be divided. Amazing how much flowering volume this young plant produced. Andy does not list it but I'm sure he has it if you make a direct query. Give him a call, you'd be amazed what he has under the bench.
