This one is a mystery. Jay Phal does not list Maxillaria leptosepala, it does not google up either. The tag is from Ecuagenera they usually know what they are talking about. I cannot find reference to this plant. I will contact Ecuagenera to see what they have to say. Nice flower anyway, definitely a Maxillaria, maybe a synonym. Our speaker tonight is Tom Mirenda, curator of orchids at the Smithsonian, who is talking on the orchids of Central America, I'll show him the plant and see what he has to say.
