Coelogyne mooreana 'Brockhurst'

My Coelogyne mooreana 'Brockhurst' has been blooming for a little over a week now. I don't detect a fragrance yet, but I am enjoying the blooms.
I am considering growing all my Coelogynes in shallow pans of water. Any thoughts on that?
