In general I have little success with Cyms - too warm. The only one I have that does regularly reflower looks very much like this. I don't know if it is in fact the same as it is a NOID like all the rest. How cold are your winter night temps?
The cutoff for Standard type Cymbidiums is average night temps in summer must be below about 20C. Warmer than this and they do not flower much. Of course, there must be a drop in temps as you go into winter.
In my opinion, the Cyms grown in Melbourne are better than those grown in Sydney because summer night temps are cooler.
