I dont know why you are surprised it hasn't croaked yet, it is beautifully grown and looks totally happy in your care. AND it has babies too! I'm trying to nurse mine back to health after it's roots rotted in coconut husk chips, have it in sphagnum now and hope it recovers. I'm going to an orchid show this weekend, and if I see a good cheap Bellina, I know I will buy another one because I can't wait to smell the fragrance. Someone please take away my credit cards!!!

That is one fantastic looking plant. It's clearly happy in your care. I got mine a year ago and it stalled until this spring when I learned that it needed more light that many other phal. but even then it only put out one more leaf this summer. I guess I need to adjust something. Your's really makes for a wonderful display. Naomi

What a fabulous plant and the bloom is a beauty. I aquired one just recently, then managed to sunburn it's beautiful leaves. I hope it will forgive me and grow some new leaves and more blooms. Sheila

It's a great plant. I know mine is tough, because a few hours ago, it fell from its pot, face down, and it had one fading bloom left. I was afraid it would lose its 2 spikes, but not even the bloom came off-no bumps or bruises. I think this is a warning-keep your klutzy hands off me!!
