Wow Arthur, those are incredible blooms! I'm trying one of the nobile type dends, Oriental Smiles (I think!). I'll be thrilled if I just get one stalk of those lovely blooms.

Congratulations on the well deserved awards!

    Sheila :)

Arthur, where does one find all these clones? I know of one or two people who have hybrids but these ones I haven't seen before.

Are there growers around I am not aware of?

Darren I do not know of any nurseries in Australia that specialise in Softcanes.

At one time Bananacoast Orchids had the Franchise to import from Yamamoto but that lapsed and was for sale and i do not know if anyone picked it up.

There was some local breeding done by guys who have gone to the great orchid place in the sky and there must be some other people dabbling in a hobby sort of way.

Aranbeem Orchids have Softcanes for sale from time to time but i do not know their source. Their current offering is of Quality Hybrids x selfings.

Other than that the softcane enthuasist has to rat around society orchid sales tables and the like looking for bits and pieces or keikis.
