This is my first blooming of my Bulbophyllum Wilmar Galaxy Star. It has two open blooms and two more on the way. Since it is a Bulbo I will preemptively say, it does not have an odor.
that's an amazing flower... how do you grow it? i've been wanting a lobbii and/or hybrid for a while but never sure how low humidity I can get away with...
Thanks! Over the summer it is outside under bright shade. In the winter it is in the house is an east window. The humidity is about 50% in the house over the winter. It is pretty easy growing.
According to Bada, weird x weird produces super weird. I have this: Wilmar Galaxy Star âÂÂFirstâ x Bulbo facetum âÂÂGold CountryâÂÂ, I assume it is this flower crossed again with something else. Can't wait for the flowers.
