A nice Coelogyne hybrid, I grow it cool but it will probably handle intermediate.

Beautiful bloom! You'd think that here in MN I'd have better luck with these, but I really haven't. Still, I keep trying different species - maybe someday.

Try hybrids, supposedly tougher.

10 out of 11 are open but the first one is beginning to fade. Very nice presentation.

Here is a another pic....the owner did not give a clone name when he managed to win Open and Novice Champion orchid at the local orchid society winter show.
Just opened and the colour faded a bit after a few days in shopping centre desert air.
.

These (Coelogyne) are mostly easy here.
