Coelogyne lawrenciana

| I wanted to show this as it had gone over by the time I took the "Orchid table" shot. Typical rather "over the top" Coelogyne scent. This species is one of my bugbears - it is a spectacular bloom but, for me at any rate, a shy flowerer and particularly prone to bud blast. Haven't figured out a reason.

| These are gorgeous - there were some beautiful in-bud divisions for sale at our OS a few months ago, but I refrained because of size concerns. The markings on the lip are exquisite! |
