Just loves these orchids and the related stanhopeas. So dramatic when in bllom and still fairly handsome when not.

I have a couple of Gongoras as well! Easy to grow and special flowers. Nice colors on yours!

Too neat! Can't decide what they remind me of. Spotted snails? Some kind of sea creature?

Delightful. Although Gongoras are S American orchids they are rarely seen here in collections. I don't think any of them are really common.

Gongora looks very nice! But I was told that one must have a greenhouse in order to grow it, otherwise the flooring will be messed up.

What an intense yellow! Congrats on the growing and blooming. I will have to get a showier Gongora than the one I have. I agree though, the plant is pretty neat even when not in bloom.
