Wonderful plant and excellent photos. I am very envious I have a perfectly healthy plant quite small compared to yours which has aborted it's flower spikes for the past two years.

This one is really magnificent...does it stink or is it decent? I'm with sheila...once I manage to stop killing these things, I want to get one of these for sure!

I don't think the flower stinks (it may to some people) but it has a scent similar to that of Brassavola cucullata (cucullata is fainter and a little sweeter), Nepenthes pitcher plant flowers (Nepenthes is probably stronger), and I'm sure there are other plants with this scent that I can't think of. It doesn't attract flies like echinolabium or graveolens.

Just beautiful!!! I just purchased one and it is overflowing from a 4" pot! I wondered what to place it in since it is so overgrown. I love the look of the basket, and obviously yours is very happy! When do you repot? Mine just finished flowering and has two new growths and 14 bulbs, it's huge, but much more 'rambling' in appearance than yours! Again just gorgeous!!!

Where can the rest of us find the hapu'u tree fern fiber? I have searched with little result. Would appreciated your help. Can you give just a little more detail on how yours is potted? Is it small fiber or large? A chunk? I really like your arrangement and would like to do the same with mine:o)
