Paphiopedilum fairrieanum

Paphiopedilum{{gwi:807}} fairrieanum is one of the most recognizable paphiopedilum species. It is even pretty easy to see its traits in hybrids. It is considered a cool to warm grower. In the winter mine is growing on the intermediate side under a CFL grow light. In the summer it is grown in the shade to help{{gwi:807}} beat the heat. This is my first bloom. Hopefully, I can keep it growing. They have a reputation for being short lived, especially without a greenhouse.
