I've never seen a floribunda that color. I suppose there are tons of variations, though. The shape looks like the one I had, but mine was a definite yellowish. I think I like yours better. Cute flower.

I recently received one of these! Glad to hear how sturdy they can be! I love the flowers on that one, like Kevin, I didn't think they where that colorful! What type of lighting do you give yours? Mine stay with my phals, but I've heard they can tolerate more.

So, maybe this is a warmth-tolerant species, and usually, it's yellow? Fragrant, and definitely small... hmmm. Maybe it'd be happy in the cooler room w/ the Celtic Frost.

Kevin, did yours need cooler temps? Leave your place for reasons other than temps?

Sharon, it'd seem you'd have the right conditions for the warmth-tolerant ones. Too bad.

I really like the color of the flower myself; having bought it as a seedling, I expected something more yellow. Hard to capture the real beauty as the flower is tiny: inside, it is full of light burgundy spots...

Light - I grow it next to phals, on a tray with gravel. Fairly bright light

Just on Andy's site and saw this one. He says temps are "Warm, Intermediate to Cool; 45F min. to 98F max.(tolerant of extremes, favoring warm)."

How un-Masde-like is that?

WC - I traded mine away simply because I didn't like it. The color was dull and the flowers just weren't that interesting. The little thing just bloomed like crazy though and seemed happy with just about any temps I gave it. If you do buy one of these, I would try to see a pic of the flowers before hand. I think there are some better clones out there than others.

Olya - Yours is really nice. Had mine looked like that, I probably would have kept it.
