Where to buy Soybean Meal in CT?

Posted by nutmeghill (My Page) on

After reading here for a while, I want to try using Soybean Meal on my lawn instead of Ringers. However, I can't seem to find anyone in the Connecticut who sells it?

Does anyone know of a place in CT or even Rhode Island?

Thanks!!

PJ

I usually call up local Agway dealerships or look in the yellow pages for Tack Shops. Usually there are a couple who aren't too far from me (RI) who have it in stock. Anyone who is a Blue Seal dealer should be able to order it for you even if they don't currently have it.

Hi,
I just bought soy bean meal at Meriden feed and supply . It was $ 17.00 for a 50 lb bag. I paid 11.00 last year at a place that no longer can get it in Berlin. The man at Meriden Feed said the price has gone up significantly due to the ethenol problem. I checked with Agway and they said they don't carry it. I called many places before finally finding it in Meriden. Call first. Good luck.

Thank you both for your replies.

I tried a an agaway place in North Branford and they did not carry it. Meriden isn't too far, though, I will give them a call!

Thanks again,

PJ
