Chicago Area source FYI

I was able to buy Alfalfa Pellets and Soy Bean Meal locally at reasonable prices. They were temporarily out of Corn Gluten Meal but expected it within a week. In glancing around I also saw fish meal and a variety of lawn and cover crop grasses. The also have compost and hay bales. FUN!

The operators are very nice and the store has been in business for over 60 years.

It is located just off I-55 close to the intersection of Harlem and Archer.

I also bought pelleted alfalfa at The Feed Store in Summit - you can buy it any kind of bulk (1 pound up to X pounds) and nicest people EVER work there!! Wonderful place. They seem to have everything you could possibly want and very knowledgable. My "inner wanna-be farmer" loves going there :)
