Hello,

We're entering our second season with this lawn. Last season I hired Natural Lawns of America and was chemical free. At the end of the season our lawn looked like a bunch of weeds with a bit of grass here and there, mostly clover. I asked Natural Lawns about its condition and basically they said that there was nothing they could do to improve the condition of my lawn unless I applied weed killer.

So, I discontinued the service and now it's up to me. I seeded last fall and this spring I do have more grass and still tons of clover and other unfamiliar weeds.

Can anyone tell me where to start and what to do now ?I read about corn gluten nurishing the lawn and that the grass will eventually choke out the clover. I've also been told it doesn't work.

I was thinking of trying to dig out patches of clover and re seeding grass but I think it's just too big of a job for me and my husband to take on.

Is there anything else I can do? Any grass seed or fertilzer you recommend?
