looks like dollar weed - it likes moisture

well, I thought it was dollar weed, but now I think it's dichondra?

Yup, I'm going with dichondra.

This is defianitly dichondra, the leaf is "cleaft", dollar weed is round and the stem attaches to the leaf in the center. Presence of this weed is an indication that it is receiving too much water. If you are supplementing water with an irrigation system, only water the lawn as it needs it, no more. Aeration may help by providing better drainage.

It is dichondra. We had a dichondra lawn for about 10 years while I was growing up in California. If you don't do anything, the flea beetles will kill if off in July. It might be back next year from seed, though. You also have some oxalis in the last picture. That will be another menace that won't go away by itself. You'll have to pull that out.

I don't know of an organic solution to it.
