thats a pretty cool list. unfortunatly several of the places on there are places i called already when i went through the phone book. i guess i am going to have to expand my search radius a little.

Yeah, frankly, that's all I did.....went to my yellow pages, looked under "feed dealers" & started makin phone calls. Call enough places & you'll find who has SBM in stock & for a reasonable price....like $8 to $12 for a 50lb bag. Right now I'm paying I think $10.25 for 50lbs from Meiser's Feed in Norman,OK

Here's my backup feed store directory. I was sandbagging you before.

The Broken Arrow Farmers Co-op has some. I haven't picked mine up yet. The girl quoted me $10.75 for a 40 or 50 pound bag. I was even thinking of calling Atwoods here in BA. I know Owasso is a little bit of a drive to BA.

Booster Feed Mill at 5535 East Admiral Place, Tulsa usually has SBM. If you are looking for a significant quantity, it is best to give them a call early in the week and they will fetch it from their suppliers on their Wed./Thurs. pickup run.

Their $14 price for a 50 lb bag of SBM is highway robbery, IMO, but they are just around the corner from my place. I am willing to pay an extra buck or two just for the convenience factor.

I just want to tell everyone thanks for the help. I will probably end up using both of those locations, as well as the list, in the future.

The other feeds store that I was trying to work with has not even bothered to call me back, thats too bad because they are about 1 mile away.
