I have recently started using ogranic products on my lawn (compost, SBM). The lawn has a lot of white clover and Dichondra. A lot of people say that CGM is a better fertilizer than a Herbicide, so I'm not gonna bother spending money on that. Since, this is a Flortam lawn my only option aside from ripping the lawn out is Atrazine.

If my understanding is correct, the compost helps increase biological activity in the soil and the fertilizer like SBM feed the biological organizms which in turn help provide the NPK to the grass. I assume Atrazine will kill the biological organisms and another layer of compost will need to be applied after the atrazine; before I can start using the SBM again. Is this correct?
