The nematodes specifically sold for grub control can not be multiplied in ACT. They can only be multiplied with grubs. The reason being; the nematode infects the grub with a bacteria that it uses to feed off of. The bacteria feeds off the grub. As a result, the grub dies. No grubs, no baceria; no bacteria, no nematode.

There are very strict rules to follow when applying nematodes. You need to be concerned that the tea you're applying may contain mass quantities of a natural nematode predator. If you introduce your store bought nematodes to a concentrated soup of its predators that could be a bad thing for the nematode.

I'd suggest applying the nematodes first and letting them find a home for the first couple of days. Then apply the tea.
