| With the drought we're experiencing here, our KBG lawn is slowly going into dormancy. I'm watering sparingly just to keep the crowns and roots alive, about half inch of water per week. Since we were able to get a good steady source of ucg recently, I've also started spreading ucg on the grass. But now I'm wondering if it was wise to spread ucg when the grass is going into dormancy. Any advise you can offer is much appreciated, thanks!! |

| The turf goes dormant, not the microbes. It's the microbes in your soil that use the coffee grounds and not the grass. It's a common misconception to not offer any kind of amendment in the Summer but that is something that's carried over from our synthetic days. Remember, we're feeding the soil, not the plant.
