Last week I applied compost to my lawn. I also started a watering schedule now that mother nature will provide less and less water as the summer takes hold. So far I have seen some inprovement. My lawn is green and growing strong. Funny thing is when the compost delivery guys dropped the compost on my driveway they spilled a little on the edge of my lawn. Now the area where the compost spilled is lush green and this excites me for the future. Thanks for the advice i recieved from all of the organic lawn folks.

I almost forgot. Robins and other birds which haven't visited my yard in a long time are there everyday and most of the time they leave with worms in their mouths. I am sure that is a good sign. All I ask of them is if they could please leave their droppings behind.

If it wasn't for the expense and hard work, I'd be a topdressing junkie. ;)

My yard seems to love it.
