And urea isn't really something we use.

Also any farm-and-ranch type store. Definitely call before making the trips.

OK, I've purchased my first bag of grains (SBM). Shocked to find it priced at $23.50 for 50 pounds, considering the much lower prices I've seen reported on this board.

It was at a store called Feldman's in a Kansas City suburb. I thought being in the Midwest would translate to better pricing. I may have to call around and compare.

Can the SBM be put on wet or dry lawns? I have a sprinkler system; should I water right after putting the SBM down, or does it matter?

The feed store is the least expensive source of Alfalfa. I've noticed that products labeled organic tend to cost more.
