 o
sources for sbm, cgm in northern colorado?

There are horses being raised all over the place here, so I feel like there must be somewhere to buy big bags of soybean meal or corn gluten meal. I've been on the phone with a couple of feed stores in the area today and they claim they don't carry it. Their web pages list lots of equine feed packages that are processed combinations of lots of stuff. (Often having beet pulp as a primary ingredient.)

I found an organic store in town that will sell me expensive small packages intended for lawn care, but does anyone know of a feed store in the Fort Collins / Denver area that might carry big bags?

Thanks

You might try calling the horse owners or stables and see if they can suggest some places to call.

I'm on the Western Slope instead of the Front Range, but I just ordered some from my local Feed and Ranch Supply store. They don't carry it either, but they will order it for you in 50 lb. bags... if you ask.
