Help, switching to organic lawn

So, I aerated and reseeded my bare(dead, dying, weed infested) lawn late Sept, early Oct. The starter fertilizer and fescue mix I have put down has really grown and made my lawn look so much better; however, there are bare patches and weeds on my lawn. Last week I put down some Scotts Winterguard with plus 2 weed control to help eliminate my weed infestation. It has worked somewhat, but the weeds are still fairly noticeable.

What I would like to know is, is it safe for me to put some Milorganite a week after Thanksgiving. Will this damage my lawn since I applied the Scotts Winterguard? Iwant to give my lawn a good feeding so it'll be nice and healthy when spring comes.

I know that the bare patches will not fill up, and I will probably have to reseed next fall to fill in those areas.

I've been really inconsistent with my lawn care and would like to be a better homeowner with a nice looking lawn. So, after much research and browsing through forums I have come up with a plan.

March/early April- apply pre M.
May-Milorganite
July-Milorganite
Sept-reseed, Milorganite
Nov-Milorganite

Any feedback or help is appreciated. Thanks for reading
