Something I posted on Scotts.com...What do you think?

Here is what I posted.....

Now that Scotts has an organic product, does anyone think that their updated web site will include notation stating that it can be substituted for 1 or more steps in the 4-step plan? And if not as a substitution, do you think they will include it next to the picture of the bag of Turfbuilder (when you research their 4-step plan for your zip code) as what they call an "any time" application?

If Scotts wants to find a middle ground and make peace with the organic community - or those who at least try to use as few chemicals as possible, they would amend their 4-step program to include more "as needed" language. For example, if you don't have a weed or bug problem, you could totally forget steps 2 and 3, replacing them with Organic Choice Lawn Food or even Turfbuilder. I know it is easier for the masses if all they have to do is pick up the bag with the right number, but that is a LOT of chemicals for lawns that might not need it.
